WRH Ink Balm Tattoo Aftercare
About: Ink Balm is an ideal alternative to petroleum jellies and synthetic creams traditionally used for tattoo after care. An ultra moisturizing and absorbent base of organic coconut oil and Pacific Northwest beeswax keeps skin hydrated without clogging pores. Organic essential oils of Oregon-grown peppermint and lavender soothe tender and itchy skin. Antioxidant-rich rosemary extract and non-GMO vitamin E are added to improve stability and nourish healing tissues.
GMO Free - Cruelty Free
Ingredients (*Organic): *Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, Beeswax, tocopherol (non-gmo vitamin e), *Rosemarinus officinalis extract, essential oils of *Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) and *Mentha piperita (peppermint). Net Wt 1 oz
Use: For fresh tattoos, wash gently with a mild soap 2-5 times per day. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Using clean hands, apply a very thin, even layer of Ink Balm to your tattoo. Ink Balm is designed to melt at body temperature. If Ink Balm is thicker or harder than desired, soften a small amount between clean palms before application.
Ink Balm can be used alone or with the WRH Ink Spray I offer, for a complete aftercare system. If used together, WRH recommends applying Ink Spray prior to applying Ink Balm. Ink Spray can also be used in between washing to relieve discomfort and itching. Alternatively, apply only Ink Spray after washing for the first 2-3 days of healing, or until the skin is dry and tight. Then begin applying Ink Balm after applying Ink Spray to hydrate skin and prevent cracking. Continue until your tattoo is fully healed. Always follow your artist's aftercare instructions. Aftercare will vary depending on your skin type, size and location of tattoo. These instructions do not replace the advice of a medical professional.
