The End of An Era “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” -George Bernhard Shaw This month marks 13 years for Serendipite! Boy oh boy have I made mistakes during those years. However, there is SO MUCH to be proud of, and grateful for! Many things have transpired throughout the years that have brought wonderful things into my life. Relationships, mistakes (because mistakes can be beautiful!), learning, educating, growth, fulfillment. Since January I've been contemplating moving Serendipite in a different direction due to life events. When that direction became clear to me, I knew it was time to close the doors on this chapter of Serendipite's history. On March 6 I wrote out a plan. For weeks prior, and for some unknown reason, the date of 3/6 had been resonating in my head. A day after writing out my closing plan, I read an inspiring post on a Telegram channel I follow that was written on 3/6. I’ve shared a part of it below. In April I will be closing the doors of Serendipite as we know it- a place where you’ve been able to order from my website, a place where you've been able to walk into the shop and peruse products and ask questions, a place where friendships were made, a place where so many inspiring conversations have been shared!
