My first experience with Moon Valley was in October 2018. Wes and I were on a business trip in Traverse City. While he was in conferences, I spent time walking around town and shopping. I went into Green Island (stop in if you're in TC!) and saw the Lemon Vanilla Moon Melt Lotion Bar tester, tried some, and got hooked! Mind you, I've not spent money on a product I don't carry since 2012! But I loved the feel and aroma so much that I knew I had to have it, even if I later learned the company didn't meet my criteria for my personal use/offering it at Serendipite. Thankfully, that was anything but the case! After thoroughly researching the company I knew I HAD to carry the line, so I contacted them and got approved.
I have MANY awesome things to say about this company and their products, but there is only so much space here! I'll keep it to this- I am enamored with the fact Moon Valley is not just about selling their products- they are as much about educating people on ways to help keep our environment healthy. They grow their 100% USDA certified organic, sustainably farmed herbs using permaculture practices. The herbs are carefully dried, processed and packaged on site. What they can’t grow they source from local organic farms and suppliers who support fair trade and (RAN) Rainforest Action Network.
